OK....with GWEN being released, and myself not being able to play it due to 'unforseen circumstances' lets name and shame those stores where we've pre-ordered and not received the goods on the correct date, so in future we can all aquire then game on the day of release.

My vote goes to PLAY.COM i ordered GWEN 2 weeks ago, and i didnt arrive today... I wont be using them again.

I ordered from play.com, and it arrived today on time.

It also depends on where you live etc, you can't always blame the company for things that might be out of their control.

PlayNC.com fails to recognise the preoder discount when paying with Paysafecards... support promises a fix in a few workdays

pretty sad. first Anet/NCSoft sell paysafecards as the solution to get the Bonus Mission Pack for non credit card owners in europe and then they fail to test the payment methods for EotN in their own shop

Only got an email yesterday informing of delivery, but delivery takes between 2-5 days = past GW:EN live date.

Exactly the same thing to say.
I'd expected it to have been shipped much earlier, they could have informed me they hadn't got the shipment therefore wouldn't get it posted early enough. Very dissapointed.

Hopefully it wil come tomorrow, in the mean time we can all share in eachothers sadness.

Ordered mine from Play as well as I came back from holiday today so wasn't sure whether I'd make it to Game or not.. so now.. not only do I miss the chance to choose which cover I buy I can't play the blinkin' game as it never arrived.. Good work.. not!

Amazon failed to deliver my bonus preview key, I didn't give them a chance to fail to deliver the game its self!

Play.com delivered my copy in the post this morning. Thumbs up to Play, they come up trumps again

HMV are atrocious. I have never used them since I wait like 2 months for a vinyl which was apprently in stock. In the end I cancelled the order and bought it on ebay for £7...

Play.com has always been good to me. Amazon has not, they have messed up so many orders which say the item will be shipped in 24 hours, i pay 1st class postage and it takes weeks to arrive.

Complain and kick up a massive fuss if its late. Say you wont use them again. Ive done that with Amazon got a voucher. Complaining is sooo ftw, did it with sony and got free game and memory card as customer support lied to me and i found out and went mental. If its their fault you should get a voucher or something, well certainly amazon will.

Online shopping is not so gd when you want stuff quickly or by a certain date.

I would have bought it from the shop, but i knew on the day of release i was working a 10 hr shift so wouldnt make it to the shops,... so i ordered online...with play...expecting it to be there when i got home....but alas the wife tells me its not there....unless she has hidden it on purpose so i cant play

The thing that got me is that Play e-mailed me to say it was depatched on the 29th when they're own T&C's say it will be at least 3-5 days delivery.. so how on earth did they expect to make it on time? They should have stated something to that effect when I ordered..

Any luck finding an e-mail addy for them though? The only option I can seem to find about a delivery not being on time states that I need to wait 21 days to report it.. sha-right.. good one!

Play NC probaly are the worst for me. I pre-orderd which entiteled me to a discount which was fine but a few days after i pre -orderd i decided to start playing dungeon runners which i payed for but because of this there fraud thing wouldnt allow me to purchase the full game of Eye of North so i had to use my m8s card to buy it in the end

so be warned if you use Play NC dont buy other things!
